If there is something that we are known for in Costa Rica, it’s whitewater rafting. You can’t leave Guanacaste without experiencing an exciting trip down the river. The River Tenorio, especially during the rainy season, offers a true rush as you travel through Class III-IV rapids.
 
The approximate time on the water is about two and a half hours, during which you get to ride great rapids and swim in river pools. Snacks are provided during the river tour.
