Bait: Ballyhoo & Live bait (subject to availability)
Crew: Expert professional crew & local captain
Gear: Full professional fishing gear (rods, reels, tackle, and lures)
Food: Complimentary snacks, fresh fruits, and full lunch (on full-day trips)
Drinks: Beverages (beer, soft drinks, juices, and water)
Catch: Complimentary catch cleaning, filleting, and bagging
Pick-up: Direct beach pick-up by boat (surcharge may apply for specific locations)
4–6 weeks ahead for most trips; 6–9 weeks for peak season (December–April) and holidays. Last-minute availability does come up — message us on WhatsApp and we'll check.
Half-day AM 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM
Half-day PM 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Full-day 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Please arrive at the dock 15 minutes before your departure time.
May – Nov: Calm seas, peak mahi-mahi and wahoo.
Jun – Nov: Peak sailfish, marlin, strong roosterfish and tuna runs.
Year-round: Roosterfish, snapper, sailfish, jack crevalle.
Your safety is our top priority, If the captain determines the weather conditions are unsafe to fish, we will attempt to reschedule your trip.
If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund.
For guest cancellations, please review our standard cancellation policy details in your booking confirmation.
15–20% of the charter price is the industry standard in Costa Rica, split between captain and mate(s).
Cash USD preferred.
Gratuities are discretionary but genuinely appreciated.
While it may not always be required, we strongly recommend purchasing your licenses in advance for a smoother experience.

Licenses are not included in the charter price ( Only if specified in your reservation), but they are very easy to purchase online prior to your trip.
Light rain rarely stops a trip and can improve the bite. If conditions are genuinely unsafe — storm, heavy swells, lightning , we'll the fishing day will be rescheduled according to your availability, otherwise issue a full refund.

Each boat has a recommended maximum capacity to ensure a comfortable experience on board.
Pricing is based on the boat rental, not on the number of passengers.
Absolutely! Our charters are completely family-friendly, and we welcome anglers of all ages and skill levels. Our patient crew loves teaching kids and beginners how to hook their very first catch.
Half-day inshore trips stay in calmer, protected waters and are a gentler option. For offshore trips, take Dramamine or Bonine the night before and again the morning of the trip. Let us know in advance and we'll recommend the right boat for your comfort.
Yes ! At the end of the trip, our crew will professionally clean, fillet, and bag your catch for you at no extra cost.
We can also recommend excellent local restaurants that will gladly cook your fresh catch for dinner.
Most species can be kept for personal consumption.
Billfish (marlin, sailfish, swordfish) and Roosterfish must be released by Costa Rican law.
